17: Noon. Away mission to California Science Center, 700 Exposition Park, Los Angeles. We’ll begin with lunch at the center’s restaurants. Then we’ll see the space shuttle Endeavour and the various exhibits. We will also see the Apollo-Soyuz Command Module, the Gemini 11 capsule and the Mercury-Redstone 2 capsule that was piloted by Ham the chimpanzee. And we will watch the IMAX movie “Journey to Space 3D,” narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart, at 3 p.m. Admission to the center is free, but the IMAX movie costs $9.79 for adults, $8.79 for seniors and $7.59 for children.
