Aug. 27-31: The 2026 World Science Fiction Convention, also known as Worldcon or LAcon V, will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W. Katella Ave., Anaheim 92802. Dave Mason will be there and will organize lunch or dinner with Angeles members who are interested. Headliners include Ronald D. Moore, the “Star Trek” writer and producer who went on to co-develop the remake of “Battlestar Galactica” and co-create AppleTV’s “For All Mankind.” For more information, see lacon.org.
