Pool party makes for a big splash

The pool kept us cool on a hot day with a fun USS Angeles party at Kristine and Dennis Cherry’s home in Chatsworth.
Eleven members gathered July 14 to enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers barbecued by Dennis, a talented grill master. We also enjoyed sides that varied from a salad to watermelon.
Some of us jumped into the pool. Others enjoyed conversations in the shade.
Kristine and Dennis’ guests were Bill Johns, Joe Queen, Cassie Queen, Lili Queen, Kat Campbell, Jeremy Kranz, Janice Willcocks, Lisa Sobien and I.
Afterward, some of us enjoyed episodes of “Star Wars: Bad Batch” at Kristine and Dennis’ home. We thank them for hosting!
