Final season of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ premieres April 4

We now have official word on the debut of the fifth and final season of “Star Trek: Discovery,” arriving on April 4, the eve of First Contact Day. There is also new key art and new details on the world premiere panel at SXSW in March.

Paramount+ just announced that Season 5 of “Discovery” will arrive on Thursday, April 4 with a two-episode debut. New episodes of the 10-episode season will follow each Thursday on Paramount+ in the U.S., the U.K., Switzerland, South Korea, Latin America, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and Austria. “Discovery” will also premiere on April 4 on Paramount+ in Canada.

Returning for season 5 are Sonequa Martin-Green (Captain Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker), and Blu del Barrio (Adira). Callum Keith Rennie joins the cast as Captain Rayner. Season five also features recurring guest stars Elias Toufexis (L’ak) and Eve Harlow (Moll). Go to original article on Trekmovie.com for more.
