Winter Holidays Party among our adventures

By Fleet Capt. Dave Mason

The USS Angeles did some joyful giving and stealing during our annual Winter Holidays Party this month at Jeremy Kranz’ home.

The event included our annual gift exchange, in which you can steal presents twice. We also enjoyed fun conversation and a delicious potluck, which featured cheesecake and chocolate cake as desserts.

That was the latest of our in-person activities.

Previous Angeles events included AIDS Walk Los Angeles and a Halloween party at Jeremy’s home, both in October.

In September, we visited California Science Center and the “United We Trek” rally (part of the SAG-AFTRA strike) outside Paramount Studios. In November, we beamed down to Loscon 49 in Los Angeles and went to a screening of “The Marvels” at the AMC Fallbrook 7 in West Hills.

For more on these activities, see stories in the December and March issues of Angels Flight, the USS Angeles’ award-winning newsletter. All members receive PDFs of the newsletter. You can become a member on this website. Join our adventures!
