May 19: Away mission at noon at the Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino (near Pasadena). This is where the “Ménage à Troi” and “Justice” episodes of “Star Trek: The Next Generation”  and the “Deep Space Nine” episode “Meridian” were filmed. (“Justice” was also filmed at The Japanese Garden in Van Nuys.) Exhibits at The Huntington include “Painting in Print: Studying Art In China” and Betye Saar’s installation work “Drifting Toward Twilight.” The Huntington is the home of two famous paintings — Thomas Gainsborough’s “The Blue Boy” and Thomas Lawrence’s “Pinkie.” Tickets cost $25 for general admission and $21 for seniors 65 and older, people with military ID, full-time college students and youths ages 12-18. Admission for youth ages 4-11 is $13. Children 3 and younger are admitted free. Ticket reservations are required.
